ACR/EULAR response criteria approved for adult and juvenile myositis

1000minds was used to create response criteria for adult and juvenile myositis respectively. Myositis is a systemic autoimmune disease characterised by chronic skeletal muscle inflammation and weakness. Following a data-intensive international collaboration, the criteria were recently approved and released by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR). “This signifies that the criteria set has been quantitatively validated using patient data, and it has undergone validation based on an independent data set.”
