Software co-inventor off to WHO

Paul Hansen, co-inventor of 1000minds and associate professor at the University of Otago, is a temporary adviser to the WHO during the "Priority Pathogens List Working Group" meeting in Geneva.

The goal of developing a Priority Pathogens List (PPL) is to better match priorities for R&D spending with public health needs, thereby better co-ordinating national and global funding programmes. End users of the PPL include pharmaceutical companies, universities and other research institutions.
