Tool developed to assess autoinflammatory disease burden
A group of medical specialists used 1000minds to create the autoinflammatory disease damage index (ADDI) for assessing multi-organ damage and prognosis in patients associated with monogenic autoimmune diseases, which is important for developing patient care strategies. The ADDI comprises 18 items (combined into a single index) within 8 organ-system categories: reproductive, renal/amyloidosis, developmental, serosal, neurological, ears, ocular and musculoskeletal. The tool can also will be used in clinical outcomes studies of monogenic autoinflammatory diseases.
