Ko Awatea International Excellence in Health Improvement Award
On 24 September 2015, Dr Doug White and his colleagues at Waikato District Health Board won a Ko Awatea International Excellence in Health Improvement Award (http://koawatea.co.nz/apac-forum/apac-forum-2015/excellence-awards/) for creating, using 1000minds, a new electronic referral and triage system for rheumatology patients – people suffering from rheumatism, arthritis and other disorders of the joints, muscles and ligaments.
